2nd Quarter

I have learned many things this quarter. I've done many fun projects. My first project was The letter project. In this project I've taken pictures that resemble each letter of the alphabet . Then I made a power point on it and represent it to the class. My second project was my favorite. I made a mix book which is like a scrap book. We took pictures that resemble the first letter with the alphabet and made them into a scrap book. The last project was the movie maker project where you found a video on YouTube and saved it with grab tube. Then found three pictures that resemble the project I'm doing. Then I made a movie out of it with movie maker. These are great things that Ive learned.

My New Book

Today I got a new book by Jules Verne Called Journey to the center of the Earth. I herd that it is a very good Book from a friend and a teacher. I'm guessing that its about a person who travels to the the center of the Earth or at least give his theory on how that works. From the title of the book It seems that there are people who are in a boat on what seems to be lava or fire. The people on the cover seem to have to found the center of the Earth. Due to the badly taken care of cover its hard to make out whats happening in the title picture.

Wizard and his Monstrous Pet

Every day the old wizard stands upon The 100 year old rock. For 9 hours he waits quietly For his Pet.When the time is right he hooks his bucket with food inside and ties it to a pole then waits. Suddenly dark clouds surround the vast landscape. Sounds of rage shout from all directions. The wizard lowers his Pole and chants. The out of nowhere his Monstrous pet appears.It sounds noises of anger and rage for it wants to feast.Then the man sways the bucket left to right to lower the beast to its food. The beast snaps and swallows everything except for the wizzard in one gulp. The the creature dissappers into the mist until the time is right. The clouds move away revealing the Moon and the night sky. The wizard then climbs down from the 100 year old rock and rests till the time is right also.

19 days from now it will be one of my favorite holidays, Christmas. This time of the year is for giving and recieving. I mostly enjoy this Holiday for the birth of Christ. A friend of my mom makes a special birthday cake for Jesus's birthday. I also will be doing Bible Studay at Church with my Grandparents the Sunday before. This year I will be giving out presents to the people who gave to me all these years. I also will be making a donation to my Church in Illinois or here in Festus. This year I will be focising.

My Point of View on Guns

Many people think that if citizens didn't have guns there would be less murders or suicides. Many people want to rid the amendment that allows us to have guns. But some people believe that everyone has a choice weather or not to use a fire arm for defence or hunting. There are many hunters in the U.S. that would go crazy if they couldn't hunt with guns. It really isn't good or bad to take the right to own guns.

Sounds To Sleep To

Movies are one of my favorite things to watch at night before I go to bed. I also like to listen to classical music. Classical music allows me to get a better night sleep because of its soothing melodies. On rare occasions in the summer I leave my windo creaked so i can sleep to nature. I feel that if I listen to sounds when I go to bead that I get a better rest.

Thanksgiving Host

For my first thanksgiving as a host, I bought the biggest turkey in the store. Than called everyone up and invited them over. And while the guests were on there way I got ready. First i attempted to cook turkey for the first time. The turkey was half way done the guests showed up and i told them not to eat anything because this is a big meal. So then my guests started to get impatient and i turned on the TV, but there was a terrible storm outside and i got no reception. Then all of the sudden i heard the fire alarm go off in the kitchen. I ran in the kitchen as fast as i could just to find the turkey smoking. So after cleaning what was supposed to be the biggest delicious turkey was this garbage. So me and my guest decided to order hamburgers and that would be our Thanksgiving.

One of my favorite Holidays is coming up, Thanksgiving. There are so many things i am greatful about. What is also unique about this holiday is every two years my brothers birthday falls on it. Gaming Addiction

Games can be very addicting. So is texting and Social networking. These addictions can be very serious. A psychologists awho lives in Iowa, at State University said the results of a national study of video game playing by people up to 18 year olds, and even younger are playing games. The lead reasearcher, believes that games are bad for people. he believes that games can effect mentality dissorder. The American Medical Association sees video game addiction as a health issue. The A.M.A also believes that overexposer to game violence can effect the players mind. I to am worried that games will affect the way people think.

Vacations

I love to go on vacations. There is so much to see and learn. One vacation i remember was going to  Indiana. It took eight hours to get there but it was worth the wait. When we got their, The next day we went to Indiana Beach a Resort Theme Park. Me and my family Rode all kinds of rides. After that we went to the I.B. Restaurant and had dinner. Then we went back home and talked all about it.

as soon as 2013 I will be applying for a job. I'm not for sure what it will be. My first option is at YMCA but most of their workers are volunteers. My second option is to work at Schnuks but the pay is very bad and my hours would be limited because of school. my third option is to work at Subway which their pay is pretty decent for the time and I can make time for this job.

Photos or pictures go a long way.what we have now which is so high tech compared to back then when pictures were black and white. Pictures were taken very poorly. They would be very inaccurate and very expensive. Their cameras back then were to heavy and made you wobble. So The creators of the camera made the Tripod. The Tripod was basically a camera attached to a stand and had a cover around the front so you could go under it and see better and take still accurate pictures thanks to the stand.

Eco car

The car i would like to have in the future would be a eco-green car. This car would be perfect because it would not run on oil( it could if wanted). I really want to use reasorses wisely so thats why i like it. This care only plugs up to outlet and charges for 5 hours wich isnt bad.the battery life for this car lasts for 6 hours and in the future well have stations to charch cars quickly about 30 min per 3 hours.

I had went to the gas station and stole the Limited addition Skyward Sword key chain. I was cant and thrown in jail for 3 months. The my angry parents bailed me out and took me to the gas station to buy the key chain. I needed it to complete my collection and i was desperate this was the only thing I could do was steal from the gas station.Sow after words i appoligize and now worked for them.

What I Have learned

I have learned many things this quarter in Tech 8. I have learned more about the computer. I have advanced in typing. I also got to do many cool projects. I was taught how to use a flash drive, how it works ,and how to remove it safely. One of my favorite projects in Tech 8 was the Biography project. I got to do a report on the Beatles and found out stuff I didn't know about them. My secound favorite project is the State Project.

Spider man is the most uncoolest hero I have ever heard of. All he does is shoot webs and clime walls. If i could get rid of Spider man I would. No wonder villains want him defeated. Just because he got bit by a spider, he just cant become a hero. I also cant believe that Mary Jane would go out with this pathetic excuse of a hero. She might as well go out with the green ''old'' gobblen oh wait thanks to spiderman he's dead and there went his best friends father.

Fying Spiderman is the new and improved spiderman. We decided to foget about the old fashioned webs that take hours to clean up when all over the city. Hunting

This weekend I am going to go hunting with my grandfather. I will be hunting a white tail deer at his property. There is a big camper fire pit in the open area. Behind the camper is 50 acres of woods to hunt in. We usually put markers up so we don't get lost when it is dark outside, so all we have to do is shine the flash light to see the reflections on the markers. My grandfather and i hunt about 3 hours. then head back to the camper till morning. my grandpa went overboard and made it where we get satellite TV. so we can see what the weather would be like in Illinois.

The thieves broke into the house and stole everything except the flat screen TV. they believed it was to big to get away with. It was also a rainy day so the flat screen would get wet and be broken. So when the family
came home everything was gone except for the flat screen that the family paid thousands of dollars for.the reason at first believed to not take the TV because it had a scratch on the upper right side. 2 hours later the family and the police knew that the TV was to big to get away with plus it was a rainy day.

If I could bottle up a memory it would be the day my cousin Abby was born. I had to get up at 3:00AM to go all the way to Belleville Illinois. an hour later the baby had be born. Gendercide In India

After watching the video about gendercide in India I found it to be quite disturbing that women and children were killed for money. I also thought that the idea about aborting your baby girl was cruel and harsh. It was also said that family would pressure or abuse the wife just because she wanted to have her baby aborted. Men are very cruel when it comes to money because that seems to be all they care about. The nice thing was the women who cared so much kept all the girls who the parents didn't want and took care of the kids till they were old enough to leave on there own as adults. I encouraged the fact that people are protesting against people aborting there daughters. Ive seen some doctors illegally telling there patients what the gender of there baby is. I think these people need more than charges, like life sentences because they help cause the death of babys before their even born. If there are enough protesters law can pass to keep the babys from getting aborted. I think that indi needs to fix this problem befor it effects them badly in the future.

This Summer

This summer I plan on seeing my boyfriend a lot and practice my singing. I heard there are a lot of talent shows next year and I want to be in a talent show, and if I get into freshman honor choir I wanna be fantastic and plan on being fantastic. I also am going to go swimming a lot. Maybe before school starts I will dye my hair crazy colors like the rainbow.. Kidding, maybe blond or black.. Or both!!!!!! That would be so awesome and everyone would be all like "Whoa, who's that chick?" and I'd be all like, "I don't know." and they'd be all like, "No way!!! It's Kaitlin!!". And that's about it I believe. I won't look like the picture below..

Teacher Appreciation Week

 I really appreciate my teachers here at Festus. They helped me learn things that my past teachers at different schools couldn't help me learn. Like Mr. Zustiac, he helped me learn all the notes and how to sing. Also like Mrs. Meppiel, she helped me learn a bunch of English things that I never understood. This school is filled with many great teachers. I'm so glad I moved here, because it's fun, educational, and awesomely amazing just like the teachers. The teachers make me like going to school everyday. When everyone else is grumpy and mad they have to school on Mondays, I'm usually really happy and excited to go to school.

This Summer

This summer I am going to try to swim with out drowning. If I drown I might die, and no one wants that to happen. I also might die my hair black or blond.. Or both!!!!!! That'd be so awesome I'd smack a turtle. But I'm gonna miss school. I can't wait until next year cause I can make more friends, and I will. I'm also gonna practice my singing and what not cause I'm determined to be the best in the entire world. I think I might sleep a lot.. Oh the endless naps I could take.. So nice. And I'm gonna learn to cook a bunch of things cause I love to cook. I'm also going to learn how to sow so I can make my own clothes. And of course I'm gonna hang out with my boyfriend.Summer this year is gunna be amazing.

The Boy Who Could

I believe this photo tells the story about a boy who was in the wrong crowd. He knows whats right and he knows he's done wrong with his "friends". He realizes what he's becoming and wants to stop it right there and does. He gets the courage to tell his "friends" he's no longer doing those things. Then they show their true colors. Their wings show black and the boy's wings go from black to white and he starts to fly away from them and goes to a better place.

What I Did Yesterday

Yesterday I stayed at home all day. I slept, ate, did the dishes, slept some more, threw up, made food, slept again, and I dreamed about Pegicorns and stuff. I think I forgot to mention I slept a bunch. I made some burritos and chili, they were fantastic by the way. And my little sister annoyed me by texting me over and over and over again. Grrrrrrrr...

Earth Day!

Earth Day was yesterday, but I celebrate it every time I see a piece of trash on the ground. I usually pick up trash when I see it, because I don't want animals getting a hold of it. They could choke or it could poison them. People shouldn't litter, because if someones dog runs away and there is chocolate or something dangerous, like a piece of glass, they could die from accidentally eating it. How would you feel if that was your dog? And you shouldn't litter cause it makes your city look nicer.

My Brother Is A Mean Nerd

My brother is such a mean nerd. The other day my brother wanted me to sing the Pokemon theme song. When I told him I don't know how the song goes he got mad and punched a water bottle at me. The bottom of the water bottle hit me in my eye really hard, I saw pretty colors in one eye and it got swollen and red. It hurt so bad,  I wanted to hit him back. But I'm not a big jerk like him. He meant to hit me, but not in the eye. He said he felt bad, but really he was upset cause he was in trouble. I wasn't gunna go to school, but I did anyways.

If I Looked how I Feel..

If I looked how i felt, I would look weird. I'm a very emotionally confused person. I could be happy one second then sad the next. Also, I have many emotions at a time so it makes me hyper and I almost die. Just kidding. Or you could say emotionally bipolar but emotionally confused sounds better, I guess. Sometimes I cry when I'm not sad.

Four Day Weekend And Next Week

I'm so excited! I get to go to the movies with my boyfriend and his family tomorrow! We're seeing the movie Titanic, in 3D I think. Then I get to do Easter and all that. I'm going to eat bunnies, chocolate or not. Kidding I hate chocolate bunnies.. And I would never eat bunnies.. I like animals. I might go to my granparents or great grandma's house too. I hope so cause I miss them. Next week I get to meet Joey's dad and his grandparents. His dad is coming back from the war for a week! I'm so excited for him, he missed his dad a lot. I hope his grandparents and dad like me. He told me they're nice, so I bet I will like them.

Staying Healthy

It's important to stay healthy, and there are many ways to do so. One way to stay healthy is to eat a good breakfast in the morning, It gives you energy and keeps you focused in class. Another way is to exercise, exercising keeps you strong. Another benefit of exercise is getting the ladies if you're a guy or them hot guys if your a girl, but I for one find abs disgusting but that's just me. Lastly eating right, when you eat right not only is your body healthy but when you eat healthy you don't get acne and you become strong and skinny.

Yesterday

Yesterday I went to my boyfriends house after school and I got to meet his family, it was fun cause I got to see pictures of him as a kid. He was so cute! We Watched a scary movie and Tosh.0. We also went on a walk and got soda and stuff at the gas station, we saw Mrs. Dawson on the way there. His mom made pizza and I made him not look at me because I HATE when people watch me eat... Specially guys. He also showed me this place in the woods with a big concrete table and a fire place. He held my hand and kissed me. It was so adorable! On our way back to his house we saw them wishing flowers and I blew it on him and said "My wish came true." It was the best day ever.

Ergonomics

Ergonomics is the study of work space and equipment and how people use them. Some bad habits of mine are slouching when I sit down at a computer and I cross my legs, which is bad. I believe our workstations are very ergonomically sound because I have no pain or anything anywhere unless I'm slouching. People should sit straight up in the back of their chair with their arms at a 90 degree angle and should be eye-level with the top of the computer. That is Ergonomics

Blurred Spots on Google Maps

On Google there are blurred spots and I believe the article I read justified why it is blurred. Some people need their privacy and there is nothing wrong with wanting or needing privacy. I have never noticed anything mysterious on Google Maps, but the Images do look fake or enhanced. I noticed one used triangles to blur it out and they all looked different. But that supports Google's claim of having people send them photos and what not.

Friday

Friday, which is tomorrow my boyfriend Joey is coming over to hang out with me. He's bringing his Ukulele to play a song for me and I'm going sing to it. The song is Morticians Daughter by Black Veil Brides. Me and Joey have been dating 7 months now, and I'm so excited for him to meet my dad. Last time he only met my mom because my dad had work. My mom made cupcakes so I'm going to save him one so we can eat cupcakes together. After we are done eating and singing and what not we are going to most likely watch TV, because I'm not allowed to have guys in my room.

Summary Of The Class

I have not been in the class for a long time, but the class to me is easy. The projects are really fun and easy. The timed typing is somewhat a challenge, because you have to be at a certain speed.
